Vitamin C as Pampalaglag (for abortion / miscarriage ) or Pamparegla ( for delayed period / menses) . Is it effective?

Is Vitamin C effective in inducing delayed menstruation or in terminating a suspected or confirmed pregnancy?

Vitamin C as an  emmenagogue  or abortifacient has been an open secret among women in online communities. It's been passed down from older generations of "empowered" women but the jury is still out when it comes to the "reliability" of Vitamin C for this purpose.

Speaking from experience though, I have to say that Vitamin C alone can be reliable if the delay is not caused by pregnancy. I used it a couple of times to induce a delayed period which I'm sure is not caused by pregnancy because I haven't had sexual activity for the previous month/days/weeks.

Send me an email  maeannsampa@gmail.com  then  you will receive  specific info on the most effective (per my experience and my blog followers) dosage, combination and instruction so you can have success with the herbal (plus Vitamin C) method of inducing menstruation/miscarriage/abortion

I  never used Vitamin C ALONE during the times I really suspected I was pregnant or the few times I had confirmed my pregnancy using the home or OTC Pregnancy test.  By, "never used Vitamin C alone", I mean I used Vitamin C together with other things, mainly herbal remedies.

Vitamin C was always effective bringing about my menstruation during the times  I had suspected or confirmed pregnancy when I used it with herbal remedies namely Parsley (infusion and pessary) and Dong Quai (capsules and tablets).

<I know, it can be a bit confusing, feel free to email me   maennsampa@gmail.com   , I am willing to answer your queries. It is my way of touching base with my fellow women from my motherland>

I talked about my first experience with the routine in my first blog post 7 years ago.  https://herbalabortionphilippines.blogspot.com/2013/07/

The majority of the questions I get from my blog readers over the past years were questions asking if taking Vitamin C alone will be enough. I always maintain, speaking from my experience (I am not a medical expert, it is always best to consult a doctor)  and the experience of my "real life friends" and verified stories of several of my blog readers, that it is the combined effects of the herbs and the Vitamin C that makes it effective.  I advise them that it is not wise to leave out one part of the routine or else the likelihood of failure is increased.

Which type or brand of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid or ascorbate)  is the best choice for delayed period?  Actually, any brand of Vitamin C will do as long as it doesn't contain bioflavonoids (example :  rosehips and citrus) . Vitamin C raises the level of estrogen which in turn drops the level of progesterone. This action mimics natural  hormonal changes which results to the thinning  of the uterine lining  and the contraction of uterus . The uterus contracts to get rid of the lining that has been shed.

Thanks to one sister ( a blog reader) who  provided pictures below  of the most readily available and cheapest Vitamin C brands in the Philippines. I already reveal these brands since it would be next to impossible for them to be banned since Vitamin C is the world's favorite antioxidant.  If you are a follower of this  blog, you may already know that one of these brands was my go-to when I was still based in the Philippines.
